Visa application for international students

Planning a German course in Bonn from outside the EU? Here is everything you need for your language course visa – apply in good time.

If you want to attend a German course in Germany and you are not from an EU country – except the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Japan – you need a language course visa. Applicants from the People’s Republic of China, Mongolia and Vietnam also need an APS certificate.

You can find all necessary information at the Federal Foreign Office and at your local German embassy: auswaertiges-amt.de.

Please apply in good time

Processing your visa can take up to three months. If you enter Germany on a tourist visa, it cannot be extended under any circumstances.

What we provide

A registration and payment confirmation (2 German courses = 2 × 799 €) from our institute for the German embassy in your country. Processing fee: 150 €. If your visa is rejected, you will get the course fees back and we keep the processing fee.
